Cancer Support in Chico, CA

“Cancer is a lot like stargazing, you spend a lot of the time flat on your back , searching for light in the darkness.”

Let’s find the light

A cancer diagnosis impacts everyone.

  • You want to be strong but it’s hard to watch your loved one go through this. You have your own feelings but feel like you’re a bad partner if you breakdown. Therapy can help you work through these feelings and be the “rock” you want to be.

  • Cancer treatment can be scary and confusing for a little one. Trying to answer questions and keep a smile on your face for a child is tough. Therapy can help make sense of what is going on and support the family as you navigate through treatment.

  • No one talks about how hard it is to be a friend or relative of someone diagnosed with cancer. It can feel out-of-bounds to struggle with the news while your loved one goes through treatment. It’s ok to feel intense emotions and therapy can help.
